Ilaria Crosta
Born in Turin and raised in France, Ilaria Crosta is a curator, photographer, artistic director, and cultural producer based in Paris. Her practice operates at the intersection of photography, publishing, exhibition-making, and education, with a strong focus on contemporary visual research and long-term artistic processes.
She is the founder and director of Reflexions 2.0 Masterclass, an international educational platform dedicated to critical photographic practice, and the artistic director of LENEUF / Sinibaldi, a Paris-based gallery where she develops exhibitions, editorial projects, and public programs. She is also actively involved in the coordination and production of exhibitions and events within the Incadaqués Festival.
Alongside her curatorial and editorial work, Ilaria has developed a personal photographic practice. She has taken part in artist residencies at Fotografia Europea and at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Paris, and she is the recipient of the Catherine Gide Photo Prize, awarded for a research-based photographic project.
Her professional experience includes the creation and management of the independent photography bookstore FotoGang at Officine Fotografiche in Milan, the co-founding of Zine Tonic Editions, and editorial roles with publications such as YET Magazine, Rolling Stone Italia, Amica, and MAPS.
Through her work, she actively supports emerging and mid-career artists, fostering experimental formats, cross-disciplinary dialogue, and sustainable models for artistic production.
Today, Ilaria continues to develop new curatorial concepts, lead workshops, and guide photographers through her masterclass.
She lives in Paris with her cat Gulliver, a towering monstera plant, and a beloved collection of photo books.
